Volunteers

Hands of Peace volunteers are at the heart of our success, and volunteers in the US and in the Middle East help us out in many different ways.  Volunteers are active in:

• Participant Recruitment
• Host Family Recruitment
• Community Outreach
• Public Relations and Communications
• Program Planning
• Summer Program activity assistance
• Event Planning

Some volunteers work year-round, others volunteer for short-term events or activities.  Some volunteers have a special interest or talent they would like to share with our participants.  Others offer their time to help carpool, provide lunch for the participants, or sponsor a program activity such as a picnic or a special theater event for the Summer Program participants.
