Alumni Club

A critical component of the Hands of Peace coexistence experience is the Alumni Club, and the ongoing activities it provides for the Middle East participants and the American teens.  In the Middle East, the Alumni Club keeps participants connected in a variety of ways:  monthly meetings for all participants, uni-national meetings for each separate delegations, more in-depth “retreat” experiences, and other activities.

The US Alumni have monthly meetings, and have been very involved in recruiting new participants, outreach efforts, and arranging and conducting presentations to various organizations and congregations.  They have also done some fundraising.  The US Alumni also continue expanding their knowledge of the Middle East, and continue to dialogue about current events and the complex and difficult issues they learned about during the Summer Program.

HOP is currently updating all of our alumni information!  If you are an HOP alumni, please fill out the Alumni Information Form online to help us stay connected!

HOP ALUMNI INFORMATION PROJECT
We have launched an Alumni Information Project in order to update our records and keep track of what our Hands are doing with their lives. If you are a HOP alumn, please fill out the Alumni Information Form online, and please encouraged other HOP alumni to do the same! As you all move out into the world, remember that you all mean the world to us!

HOP has been the single best experience of my life. I am thankful I joined because if I hadn’t I wouldn’t have changed so significantly. From this program I have been informed on the real conflict from BOTH sides but, more importantly I have had the pleasure of growing an unbreakable bond with all of the participants. I can honestly say my family grew by 40 people in just the first few days of this two and a half week, life changing glorious program working to make peace.
